Dr Altaf’s team know you are busy, so offers diagnostic ultrasound services onsite. Patients are able to have their ultrasound and consultation on the same day at the one place.

Payments

Dr Altaf’s team kindly request that you be prepared to pay your consultation fee in full on the day. A friendly staff member will then process your Medicare claim electronically on your behalf in order for Medicare to reimburse your bank account directly.
The clinic accepts savings, debit, Visa and Master cards.

Our pricing policy is based on the type of procedure you are having, the capacity and time required to achieve a satisfactory result. Note that a deposit of $500 will be required at the time of scheduling your procedure. This is a holding fee and will be deducted from the final cost. A deposit receipt will then issued to you for your records.

Rebate Information

A rebate for procedure costs will be provided by Medicare. To obtain an estimate of your rebate please call Medicare on 132 011 quoting your item numbers, and date of your procedure. DVA provides a rebate towards the procedure costs and Dr Altaf provides DVA processing. Please call DVA to provide an estimate of your rebate and subsequent gap if applicable. The cost of medical compression stockings may be covered by your private health fund. At the time of invoice we will provide you with a letter to assist with your claim.

Medical Records

To request your medical records or for more information please contact the Practice Manager. Please note that for security and privacy reasons medical records cannot be sent directly to patients via electronic methods. These will need to be collected or sent by mail.

Patients requiring copies of medical records or needing medical records to be sent to a third party can complete the below Authority to Release Medical Records form.

Interest-free, flexible payment plans are now available through ZipMoney if you are not able to pay in full. These payments must be arranged through our front desk staff well in advance of the procedure. Payments will be processed a minimum of 48 hours prior to treatment. Please note that no procedures will proceed without the clearance of Zip Money payments.

Folllow-up appointments

We recommend regular follow-up visits to ensure your treatment is healing appropriately. A valid referral is required for this.
