Dr Altaf’s team know you are busy, so it offers diagnostic ultrasound services on site. Patients can have their ultrasound and consultation on the same day in one place.

If you are a new patient, please arrive 15 minutes before the appointment to register. Please bring:

We highly recommend that you do not drive yourself to and from your procedure, specifically if you are having a phlebectomy or laser (EVLA).

Dr Altaf’s team kindly request that you be prepared to pay your consultation fee in full on the day. A friendly staff member will then process your Medicare claim electronically on your behalf for Medicare to reimburse your bank account directly.
The clinic accepts savings, debit, Visa and Master cards.

Our pricing policy is based on the type of procedure you are having, the capacity and time required to achieve a satisfactory result. Note that a deposit of $500 will be required at the time of scheduling your procedure. This is a holding fee and will be deducted from the final cost. A deposit receipt will then be issued to you for your records.

Rebate Information

Medicare will provide a rebate for procedure costs. To obtain an estimate of your rebate, please call Medicare on 132 011, quoting your item numbers and your procedure date. DVA provides a rebate towards the procedure costs and Dr Altaf provides DVA processing. Please call DVA to give an estimate of your rebate and subsequent gap if applicable. Your private health fund may cover the cost of medical compression stockings. At the time of the invoice, we will provide you with a letter to assist with your claim.

Medical Records

To request your medical records or more information, don’t hesitate to contact the Practice Manager. Please note that medical records cannot be sent directly to patients for security and privacy reasons via electronic methods. These will need to be collected or sent by mail.

Patients requiring copies of medical records or needing medical records to be sent to a third party can complete the below Authority to Release Medical Records form.

For Our Patients

Interest-free, flexible payment plans are now available through ZipMoney if you cannot pay in full. These payments must be arranged through our front desk staff well in advance of the procedure. Payments will be processed a minimum of 48 hours before treatment. Please note that no procedures will proceed without the clearance of Zip Money payments.

ZipMoney charges a set-up fee based on the length of the interest-free term chosen, which are passed onto you. ZipMoney is a third-party lender and the clinic has no responsibility or liability in administering or managing the arrangement.



Please note that if your booking is cancelled less than 14 days before the procedure, your holding fee of $500 will not be refunded.

Follow-up appointments

We recommend regular follow-up visits to ensure your treatment is healing appropriately. A valid referral is required for this.
